  • Brian Cavaliere

    DVM

    Dr. Brian Cavaliere began his veterinary career by attending Suffolk Community's Veterinary Technology program. He then continued his education further by attending St. George's University school of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, where he received multiple awards for emergency and critical care, Award of Excellence in small animal Surgery, and Large Animal Parasitology. He received his DVM from St. George's University in 2011. His clinical training was completed at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Cavaliere has a strong interest in small animal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and physical therapy/rehabilitation. He is currently a member of the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association (LIVMA), (New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS), (American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Outside of work Dr. Cavaliere can be found going hiking, kayaking, camping, playing softball or hockey, and spending time with his family, friends, and Chesapeake Bay retriever, Sassy.

  • Kevin Cummins

    DVM

    Dr. Kevin Cummins attended Texas A&M University, graduating in 1982 with 2 BS's, Animal Science. He received his DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Dr. Cummins has worked in the animal health field since high school, when he first worked for a Huntington, NY veterinarian. In 1990 he joined Jericho Animal Hospital and was a partner in the practice from 1998-2012. He has a special interest in rescue and providing care for service dogs. He enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine, including both surgical and medical aspects. In his free time, Dr. Cummins enjoys spending time with his family - wife Linda, two sons, Mike and Mark, and his Granddaughter. He also likes to exercise and enjoy the Long Island Beaches. The family has two cats and a Canine Companion Meesha for Mark and Keira, an amputee rescue dog.

  • Stephanie Ulrich

    DVM

    Dr. Stephanie Ulrich received her Bachelors of Science degree in microbiology in 1991. She received her DVM in 1995 from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. From 1996-2008 Dr. Ulrich practiced small animal medicine and surgery at Massapequa Pet Vet. She joined the Jericho Animal Hospital family in 2008 and practices small animal medicine and surgery. Her interests include internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, and cardiology, especially nephrology. Dr. Ulrich lives in Amityville with her husband Jerry and their four dogs, Wallly and Belle (French Bulldogs); Fiona (Labrador Retriever); and Fergus (red and white Irish Setter).

  • Miranda Medema

    DVM

    Dr. Medema attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her veterinary degree in 2007. Following graduation, she completed a post graduate internship in internal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. When not working, she has two youngsters who she says keep her very busy away from work. She enjoys running, hiking, water sports and football.
